About Me
Linda Heavner Gerald is a Renaissance Woman meaning that I have had many "lives." Wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend but also Registered Nurse, Real Estate Broker, Sales, Traveler now Author. This latest title has brought me such joy.
I feel that my writing is a gift from God. It all started as a vision. Each night for years, I saw this young woman walking the streets of Beaufort, N.C. This was a place which I loved deeply. Sailing there was very challenging. Finally, I asked God for guidance since I wasn't sure what this was about. The answer was my first book, Beaufort Betrayal. For over two weeks, I wrote constantly. Afraid that if I stopped, I may not be able to continue writing my thoughts.
Now I have six published novels with one on the way. Besides my family, this is my greatest joy. Although my husband and I aren't able to walk our beaches or enjoy many activities to the same degree, he supports my efforts at my craft. Writing is my way of giving back to a God who has been so wonderful to me. It is my hope that someone may realize that God loves all of us. He desires a personal relationship with his children. Through my medical knowledge, I also try to incorporate the latest health trends and problems. Hoping that one of my readers may discover the dangers of certain signs and symptoms. Maybe I'll never be a best-selling author but if I can help one person, I have been blessed.
